All three releases of Batch 002 have picked up gold at the 2019 Scotch Whisky Masters. Spice King uses single malts with spicy signatures, adding ex-sherry malts to form a whisky that's big on sandalwood and pipe tobacco, leading to a palate of caramel-drizzled carrot cake and gentle spices.

Hand-selected by Aroha Jakicevich for Glengarry, Starward Distillery introduces the limited edition Cask No. 16803. This whisky, rich in notes of honeyed red apples, tobacco, and dried fruits, first matured in red wine casks for three years. It was further refined for an additional 21 months in Limousin oak cognac barrels from France, imparting flavours of baked apples, vanilla, and ginger. Exclusive to New Zealand, this masterpiece reaches its opulent depth at 52% ABV without chill-filtering or artificial colouring. Dram in hand, the dominant sweetness of honey-kissed red apples comes forward, complemented by a delicate tobacco undertone.

South Island Single Malt, distilled from malted New Zealand barley, aged in American ex-bourbon barrels for 5 years. This non-peated single malt has been slowly maturing in our seaside bond store in Oamaru. Deep honey comb and orange in colour. Well balanced with light fruity notes, soft spice and creamy malt flavours, this lovely single malt whisky is easy drinking and delicate. A pleasant wee drop to sip!

Glenglassaugh Sandend is inspired by the crescent beach of Sandend Bay where the distillery resides. Enriched in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, over time the lush flavour of Glenglassaugh Sandend brightens into waves of tropical sweetness, infused with a crack of sea salt. Locally grown, unsmoked malted barley distilled through hand-beaten copper pot stills, matured in NZ wine casks, finished in Tennessee whiskey barrels. Apricot and zesty fruits, a nutty nose.

The classic Arran 10 Year Old Single Malt encompasses the unique taste of the beautiful island we call home and is one of the best single malt whiskies Scotland has to offer.The initial rush of rich vanilla gives way to a touch of cinnamon which adds a spicy edge to the soft and sweet texture. The classic Arran citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak.

Bottled at 43%, the Barrel Reserve emphasises the delicious, sweet fruit notes which are the hallmark of our distillery. A fantastic discovery!The brand new Barrel Reserve is a fresh, light and elegant no-age-statement Single Malt Whisky. It is 100% matured in Bourbon Barrels and is going to become your g0-to dram for every occasion - to be served neat, with ice or in a longer drink or cocktail.

A gentle, non sherried style from the Knockdhu istillery. While light in body this malt delivers a spurising depth of character. Aromatics of white florals, honeysuckle and vanilla creme brulee lead into a full and sweet flavour profile. Just a touch of spice cleans up the finish neatly.
