Vouvray is one of the great homes of Chenin Blanc, capable of everything from bright sparkling wine and bone dry whites through to beautifully mature, richly sweet styles
Join us for a tasting through the wines of Domaine Bourillon Dorléans, a family estate with deep roots in Vouvray and cellars carved into limestone.
Across seven wines, we will follow Chenin through different styles and stages of development, beginning with sparkling Vouvray before moving through dry wines, the serious L’Oppidum 2020, and the beautifully mature Saint Martin 2009. We then move into the softer side of Vouvray with La Bourdonnerie Demi Sec, La Levrière, before finishing with the concentrated La Coulée d’Or 2022.
A rare chance to taste just how versatile, ageworthy and compelling Chenin Blanc can be.
Wines include: Bourillon Premium Vouvray Brut, La Coulée d’Argent 2023, L’Oppidum 2020, Saint Martin Vouvray 2009, La Bourdonnerie Demi Sec 2022, La Levrière 2024 and La Coulée d’Or 2022.
