Pinnacle Pinot Noir

Pinnacle is our ultimate expression of Central Otago Pinot Noir and pays homage to an exceptional vintage. It is the culmination of our viticulture and winemaking craft. Significant attention to detail and planning determines site selection for this wine, and the growing season contributes distinctive nuances to each unique vintage.Sourced from the Logantown block at our organic Bendigo Estate, the Clone 777 vines, first planted in 1998, are now showing the benefits of vine age. Happy in the mineral laden, schist based loess soils they provided the exceptional fruit used to create this special wine. The 2019 Pinnacle is selected from 100% organically grown Pinot Noir, small batch vinified, minimally handled, and produced in limited quantities. Pretty aromatics underlined with spice and savoury notes, lead to wonderful depth of flavour, layers of red fruit and elegant fine tannin texture.
