Michael Jackson- whisky guru not gloved weirdo- gives this a staggering 9/10 in his worthy whisky tome. Peaty and almost pine resiny it has a salt pepper character that sets the palate alight while the soothing mellow notes put your heart rate back where it should be. The finish goes on and on more than these tasting notes do. Quite an experience.
