Cristal Vintage

Bright, shiny yellow hue with fine, slow moving bubbles. The bouquet is intense and precise, combining white flowers, roasted citrus and ripe yellow fruit, with subtle iodised and roasted notes from lees ageing. The palate is soft, delicate and immediate, with concentrated ripe fruit, a tactile, almost salty mousse, and wheat and oyster shell notes. Powdery, grainy and chocolatey in substance, it builds to a long, chalky, crystalline finish. Refined, saline and pure, Cristal 2016 balances ripe Pinot Noir and chalky, saline Chardonnay, in the style of 2002, 2008 and 2012, but with even greater length and precision.
