A single parcel Pinot Noir from Domaine Alexandre Bonnet in Les Riceys, grown on an east facing slope of 40 year old vines that gives beautifully ripe fruit. Aged around four years on lees with just one gram of dosage, it opens with fresh yellow and exotic fruits, jasmine and a touch of sweet spice. The palate is warm and powerful, carried by energy through to a long, tangy saline finish. Lovely with turbot in orange butter or lobster, and will cellar for up to 10 years.
