Sold under the Les Cranilles name, this is the gourmand, everyday face of Les Vins de Vienne, the collaborative project founded by Northern Rhone winemakers Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and Francois Villard. Grown on rolled pebbles over clay limestone and red sandy soils, the wine is aged eight months in concrete vats rather than oak, keeping it fresh and fruit forward, with red and black fruit character built for drinking within two to three years. Good with charcuterie, barbecue or a country style spread.
