A special older cellar release from the Domaine. A dry Chenin with 2g/l residual from Limestone clay and silex soils on the Chateau Chevrier plot. Fermented solely in 500L barrels and aged on lees for 1 year. The nose evokes a minerality of flint, intense spicy scents that reveal curry and white pepper. The wine is supported by sweeter aromas of honey and beeswax. Everything evolves into a delicious complexity. Notes of gunflint, baked apples, sweet spices, tropical fruit, bitterness of chicory and white truffle.
