New Bordeaux arrival
A 20 hectare Haut-Medoc property on a gravelly slope in Saint-Sauveur, bordering Pauillac, made at Chateau Lynch-Moussas under the same technical team that has run that Casteja family estate for a century. A red with floral, walnut and blackberry character alongside redcurrant, full and solid with chewy tannins and a flavourful finish. Fermented and macerated three to four weeks in stainless steel, aged 12 to 16 months in oak, around 25% new. Good with red meat, lamb, duck, goose, white meat, venison or cheese.
