Masters Collection Madeira Cask Finish (700ml)

Woodford Reserve's barrel finish philosophy accentuates attributes already present in our whiskies, never adding or changing flavors. For the 2024 Master's Collection, Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall finished our bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskies in Madeira barrels, creating fruit-forward results. Madeira barrels, from Portugal's Madeira Islands, carry dried fruit, spice, and nutty notes from the fortified wine they once held. We blended the Madeira-finished whiskies with our fruit-forward Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey to enhance those flavors further. The result is this year's Master's Collection release: Woodford Reserve Madeira Cask Finish, built around the expansive fruit and floral notes of our Wheat Whiskey.
