Quarter Cask

Benriach Quarter Cask is first matured in bourbon barrels before undergoing a second maturation in purpose made quarter casks. These quarter casks are smaller and allow more interaction between wood and spirit. This intensifies the maturation for depth and richness of flavour, to create layers of glazed orchard fruit and rich vanilla, finishing with notes of ripe barley and oak spice. All in perfect balance.
