On the palate its powerful and persistent, but at the same time balanced with fresh tannins. 94/100 Vinous (28 days of maceration in large French oak tanks, with malo and 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels): Brilliant ruby. Potent aromas of cassis, blackberry, incense and potpourri, with Asian spice and mineral topnotes. Alluringly sweet and concentrated, with zesty acidity and minerality lifting intense flavors of dark berry liqueur, bitter chocolate and candied lavender.
