Straw yellow with golden hues, and an intense, layered aroma of hawthorn and orange blossom blending into ripe apple with a touch of banana and pineapple. Fruit comes from the Gianetto cru in Serralunga d'Alba. Part of the wine ferments in stainless steel and part in small French oak barrels, the oak portion resting there for about 12 months to build structure and aromatic complexity before the two components are blended and bottled together.
