Light garnet red. Initially winey on the nose, it opens with rest into rose and violet, freshly picked blackcurrant, sour black cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with a hint of cocoa. A slight tart edge on the palate is softened by sweet fruit and subtle tannins. This is Tenuta Cucco's most youthful expression of Nebbiolo, aged entirely in stainless steel with no oak contact, bottled in spring and given just six months in bottle before release, built to show the grape's pure fruit character.
