Barolo Serralunga Docg Magnum (1500ml)

A classic Barolo bouquet shaped by the vine and the soil: withered rose, undergrowth, prunes, liquorice and spice, in a bright ruby red with an orange rim. Fresh and tart with good structure, the tannins are elegant and the fruit turns sweet, with evolved notes of tobacco and dried herbs. The wine is drawn from the Bricco Voghera and Cerrati crus and ages 24 months in traditional 25hl oak barrels, then a further 24 months in bottle before release, giving it real youthful exuberance alongside that classic Serralunga structure. Bottled in magnum, the larger format slows the wine's evolution and suits the extended cellaring this Barolo rewards.
