Chardonnay 100% from the village of Les Mesnil, the Grand Cru vineyards that go into this wine average 40-45 years. Disgorged in July 2014, the base is predominantly 2008 with just one reserve wine added. 70% of the wine was aged in oak which was 3 year old, the balance in stainless. No mlf and dosage of just 4gm/l. Taut and structured, this is very distinctive. The lemon, lime floral notes dominate the palate which carries the oak well. Precise and pure.
