The 2017 Pommard Les Croix Noires Cuvee Louis (named after Anne Parents grandson born in this year) is matured in two demi-muids and contains 5% whole clusters. It offers bright raspberry coulis and strawberry fruit on the nose, and just a hint of brown spice underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, finely integrated new oak, good structure and a masculine, quintessentially Pommard-like finish. Very fine. 89-91 Neal Martin VINOUS
