From a clay rich parcel at the lower end of Saint-Andelain, the only Dagueneau site on the Sancerre side of the river, chosen as the appellation's greatest terroir available to the estate. Often the richest wine in the range, oak ageing tames and rounds out what was once the most overtly mineral of the cuvees, giving a full, opulent wine held together by a firm, flinty backbone.
