From the Entre-deux-Mers, the region between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, named for the Cistercian abbey of La Sauve Majeure on the label. Bright with delicate golden reflections, a generous, fresh bouquet of peach and pear with subtle citrus and a floral touch. Lively and harmonious on the palate, fresh citrus accents, a discreet minerality and a clean, thirst quenching finish. Equal parts Sauvignon and Semillon, cold fermented in temperature controlled steel. Good with gourmet appetisers, oysters, grilled shrimp, sea bass carpaccio, bream fillet, warm goat cheese salad or fresh cheeses.
