New Bordeaux arrival
The second wine of Chateau Lynch-Moussas, a Pauillac fifth growth of the 1855 classification, created by Emile and Philippe Casteja for the 2001 vintage from the estate's younger plots. Deep ruby colour with a complex, expressive nose of stewed fruit, elegant and balanced on the palate with silky tannins and a chocolate finish. Fermented and macerated three to four weeks, aged 24 months in oak barrels with a portion new. Good with red meat, game, poultry and cheese.
