New Bordeaux arrival
From a nearly 120 hectare estate in Saint-Caprais-de-Bordeaux, run by the third generation of the Latorse family near the Benedictine Abbey of La Sauve Majeure, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Light red with purple reflections, a toasted, woody nose lifted by florals, plum, chocolate and blackberry with black spice. Juicy red berries on the palate, moderate tannins and a silky, fresh finish. Traditional vinification with a long maceration, aged six to ten months in stainless steel. Good with beef, game, cold meat or cheese.
