Venus Pinot Noir

A bright, lighter bodied Pinot Noir showing Rhubarb, sweet plum, cherries and currants with a hint of herbal lift. This Pinot Noir is seriously drinkable with a great balance between juicy fruit, slippery, whole-bunch influence, fine tannin and bright acidity.A multi-clonal Pinot Noir composed of 10/5 (49%), 667 (25%), 114 (15%) and 115 (11%). Venus has a total of 47% whole bunch fermentation of which half has also undergone carbonic maceration. The individual parcels were fermented for a range of 6-10 days before pressing to a combination of small and large format old wood and aged for 9 months.
