In spite of having to pick early due to impending wet weather, the 2022 is still a powerful pinot with a well developed tannin structure. The low cropping policy of "one shoot, one bunch has served very well in this difficult season. Well balanced acidity, dark fruit and savoury notes makes for an excellent food wine. It is best to decant for an hour prior to drinking to fully enjoy its good length, complexity and intensity. For those who have the patience, there is cellaring potential to 10 years.
