Landmark Chardonnay

Misty Coves Landmark Chardonnay is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we crafted this wine to reflect the Landmark the attributes and characteristics of the Fareham Lane vineyard from which it originated. A cooler ripening period resulted in a wine that shows expressive aromatics, great concentration, and fresh lively acidity with a precise structure on the palate. The wine was aged for 8 months in 25% new French barrique and 75% older barrels. The buttery profile has been purposely minimised through selective malolactic fermentation to help deliver an elegantly textured Chardonnay, with beautiful balance and a long pure finish. Produced from a blend of clones 95 Mendoza the aromas of white peach, melon and nectarine shine brightly to deliver a moreish wine worthy of any setting.
