A Pinot Noir, in the softer, classical burgundy style, made from fruit grown at Waipara, Canterbury. An intense nose of fresh raspberry, cherry and spicy oak with a hint of tobacco and dried herbs. The palate is focused and concentrated with velvet tannins, good acidity and a long finish, retaining the primary fruit flavours.
