Nestled along the coast of northern Scotland in Sandend Bay, this once dormant distillery has been revived and with it the discovery of a rare collection of vintage casks. This latest collection marks Batch 3 in Glenglassaugh’s rare cask releases, each cask distilled between 1965 and 1986 providing a rare glimpse into the history of Glenglassaugh.
Rich amber to the eye, this malt displays aromas of boiled sweets, gentle floral oak and hints of tropical fruits and barley. The fruits continue onto the palate with a hint of caramel and delicate oak.
