Released in 2025, this is the first batch of Bomberger's PFG (Precision Fine Grain) Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's. After initial maturation in new toasted and charred American oak barrels, the bourbon is transferred to a selection of custom, proprietary toasted and charred French fine grain oak barrels. These barrels are made with a blend of oak from various origins, including the Tronais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges forests, naturally dried outdoors for at least 40 months in the unique climate near the Charente River. The casks are toasted with precision, keeping to tightly defined temperature ranges and periods of time, ready for the whiskey's secondary maturation, after which it undergoes a signature filtration process before bottling at 50.1% ABV.
