A special cask chosen by Doug Gifford, an Aucklander with a long history in the whisky business from a lab point of view, from Cairngorm Distillery. Aged for 21 years in a Sherry (Fino from the look of it) cask. As you would expect from a Speyside dram, light and full of white florals. Oily texture and a long treacle finish that is not too overpowering.
