Balocchi 0 Igt Toscana Rosso

Numbered 0 as it was the first blend of Colore made by Bibi in 2000, the 2022 vintage is comprised of 70% Canaiolo and 30% Colorino, from high-altitude, windy vineyards in Olmo. This is structurally darker and more brooding than the N1 or the N8, but still shows a beautiful high-toned, liquorice fruit character. The palate is a close knit of black cherry, cassis and blackberry with a Bordeaux-esque graphite core, with the finish following this spectrum beautifully. This sees no new wood and enjoys a gentle maturation of 18 months in old oak.
