2012 is the latest of the vintage releases for the Grandes Marques. Challenges during fruit set resulted in a very small vintage, the lower yield delivering ultra-concentrated wines. Summer was not warm, but it was dry, introducing a lovely fresh acidity to the 2012s. The combination of rich, concentrated fruit and fresh acidity means 2012 is an excellent vintage, with this wine one of its best.
