The village of Collioure is located close to the Spanish border in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The climate and wines are much influenced by its proximity to the Mediterranean. Magenca is a cuvée of hand harvested Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah & Carignan, barrel fermented and matured for 15 months. The bouquet is full of black cherry, wild herbs and spice; the mouthflling palate has well weighted fruit flavours enveloped in a slick coat and supported by dusty tannins.
