Intense, brilliant garnet colour with a dense, complex nose of black fruit and wild mushroom, powerful, fleshy and balanced, with fine, elegant tannins and good persistence. As a Grand Cru, it receives the estate's longest ageing, 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, half of them new, giving the wine the oak framework to match its concentration and long term ageing potential.
