96 points Thomas Parker "Deep purple colour with a pristine nose of blackcurrant fruit, cedar and fresh tobacco. The tannins are fine, with a cocoa powder texture that gently frames the fruit. Layers of forest fruit and sweet plum are accented with baking spices and savoury cedar tones. There are hints of rosemary and liquorice too. This is a cool, sophisticated, deep VCC that is a contender for wine of the vintage. A very fine, seductive, suave Pomerol with a very long finish. Highly refined and subtle, with just the right balance of sweetness and structure. Superb."
