This 2022 vintage has a label that pays tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; the Chteau Batailley 1947 vintage was tasted at her silver wedding anniversary with Prince Philip. The wine is a beautiful dark colour. Intense, the nose gives off intense fruity (black fruit), spicy and organic fragrances. Ample and smooth, the palate delights with its tannic structure, its fruity aromas and its creamy finish.
