90-92 /100 Burghound: Note: from vines in Lochausses planted in 1989 and 1995 along with a small amount of EchEzeaux du Dessus. Tasting note: Ripe aromas of red currant, plum, jasmine tea and a lovely array of spice elements are also trimmed in enough wood influence to remark upon. The rich, suave and highly seductive medium-bodied flavors display very good power on the sappy and lingering finish where a hint of bitter cherry pit gradually emerges. This is firm enough to warrant a decade plus of cellaring.
