This tasting was rare treat for all who attended. This tasting was testament to why we cellar wine and why great Bordeaux will never go out of fashion. Bordeaux truly deserves its reputation of the one of the worlds great wine areas and it was made even more special being guided through the tasting with a French native Florent Genty . The first flight started with Chateau Nenin 2016 and 2009 (Pomerol)and a Potensac 2016 and 2003 (Medoc), the insights in to the land and the visual presentation was enlightening. The second flight was sublime to be able to taste a vertical of Leoville Las Cases anywhere in the world is a rare thing indeed, we did 2009, 2004, 1998 and 1989 and they were all superb. This showed us all why we should be collecting Bordeaux, tucking it away and enjoying it in years to come
