VINOPTIMA

Vinoptima translates to 'Best Wines' from Latin. The estate is dedicated to creating exceptional Gewurtraminer. Vinoptima is located on the East coast of New Zealand's North Island, just inland from Gisborne. The estate's vineyard is 9.7 hectares and contains five different clones of Gewurztraminer vines.

Vinoptima is owned and operated by Nick Nobilo who's also the estate's head winemaker. Nick is regarded as a pioneer of the modern New Zealand wine industry. He inherited his parents' Dalmatian passion for wine.
