THISTLE RIDGE
Based in New Zealand's Waipara wine region, Thistle Ridge Wines currently produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Hours of hard work in the fields and thistles was required to get the winery started. The team had to clear hectares of pasture and weeds, then plant thousands of baby vines in the harsh dry Waipara soil by hand. The brand's name was inspired by these days of hard work.
