SEI SOLO

"This project is the brainchild of Javier Zaccagnini, former director of Ribera del Duero’s Regulatory Board and a current partner in Aalto, one of the most successful wineries in the appellation. In partnership with winegrower Ismael Gozalo, Zaccagnini set up Ossian, a successful project based on old Verdejo vines in Segovia, but he sold his part in 2013 to focus on Sei Solo. As a tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach, Javier’s favourite composer, the wines are named after the BMW 1001-1006 violin sonatas, originally called Sei Solo, and the labels reproduce the handwriting of Bach’s original manuscript. Sei Solo is a selection of what Javier considers the ideal wine in every new vintage in terms of finesse, elegance, precision and balance." - Spanish Wine Lover
