Santa Julia is the project of Julia Zuccardi, third-generation scion of one of Argentina's most celebrated winemaking families. Based in Mendoza, the winery has built its reputation on a simple conviction: that great wine and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. With the majority of their vineyards now certified organic and a long-term commitment to full certification across all three sites, sustainability isn't a marketing footnote here. It shapes every decision made in the vineyard and the winery.
That philosophy finds its fullest expression in Santa Julia's natural wine range. Minimal intervention, no added sulphites, and a deep respect for Mendoza's unique terroir produce wines that are vivid, characterful, and genuinely expressive of their origins. The range spans still whites, skin-contact styles, pétillant naturel, rose and red, a breadth that rewards exploration.
Highlights include the La Oveja Blanco Natural, a bright and aromatic white made from Argentina's indigenous Torrontes grape, and El Burro, a Malbec that carries ripe red and black fruit with a satisfying spicy finish, best served with a light chill. For something more adventurous, the El Zorrito Skin-Contact Chardonnay and La Mantis Pet Nat offer a glimpse of just how exciting natural winemaking in Argentina has become.
