QUADRA

The Innovation of Franciacorta.Thanks to its visionary winemaker, Mario Falcetti, Quadra has become a local benchmark for its modern interpretations of the classics Franciacorta. The winemaking revolves around obsessive cure of the vines, minimal intervention on the grapes and constant product innovation. This includes manual selection of the grapes, resulting in lower sulphites level; the wines are clarified thanks to the laws of physics, avoiding usage of chemicals or animal based products. Unlike many other wineries, Quadra offers only Millesimati (Vintage wines): a tribute to the uniqueness of each vintage! Moreover, the premium range is produced with no usage of liqueur after disgorgement (Zero Dosage or Brut Nature). Quadra in the glass: clean, cutting through expressive textures and flavours!

Mario Falcetti

Mario was born in Varese (Lombardy) in 1960, has got a degree as agronomist and oenologist. In August 2008 he joined the partnership of the Quadra winery and started to run the business changing their winemaking vision completely: he departs from the traditional interpretation thanks to a minimalist approach to winemaking and he introduces product innovation.In his free time, he likes to engage in sport adventures like triathlons, ultra marathons and more. On his CV, a long list of publications and books as well.
