PRUNOTTO

The winery founded by Alfredo Prunetto back in the 1920’s is located in Alba, significant focal point of Piedmont’s Langhe region, and equidistant from Barbaresco and Barolo, on the right bank of the Tanaro River.

The Prunotto property sits on a smooth plain surrounded by vineyards of the Langhe and Roero regions, immersed in a terrain that seduces with the natural beauty of its surrounding hills and small, sloping valleys.

Enter, stage left, Tuscany’s aristocratic Antinori family, centuries of Florentine poise in tow, to inject their own finesse into the mix and assist Prunotto’s evolution as one of the most significant producers within the Piedmont region.

The Antinori family, who themselves come from a similar environment: bestowed with unique vineyards and lands, decided to take on this terrain with the conviction of going down a path which would make Prunotto become one of the most significant companies in wine production in the Piemonte region.
