MCKENNA
McKenna Bourbon was first produced in 1855 by Henry McKenna, a young Irish entrepreneur who immigrated to the USA to make his mark in the new world. Henry set up a grain mill in Kentucky and began to use the excess grain to distil whiskey. Because he strictly limited production to one barrel a day, focusing purely on quality, McKenna soon became the sought-after bourbon in progressive inner-city establishments of cities like New York and Boston. Its unique difference was the taste — McKenna bourbon was double distilled, offering a well-rounded, full taste with an extra smooth finish. McKenna is still the bourbon of choice in urban centres around the world, and now, finally, it’s available in New Zealand — for those socially savvy individuals who thrive on the city buzz. Double Distilled. Extra Smooth.
