The McLaren Vale region in South Australia is one of Australia's most famous and has a well deserved reputation for producing some of the country's most robust and generous wines. Ingoldby is no exception and one of the leading producers. Ingoldby was established by Jim Ingoldby in 1973 and in 1985 was bought into the Mildara Blass portfolio. With a succession of award winning wines in the traditional McLaren Vale style; big, bold and generous; Ingoldby is one of the new wave Australian wineries causing a ripple on the Australian Wine Show circuit and reinforcing the significance of McLaren Vale as a region.
