DOMAINE DE COURCEL
Based in Pommard, this Domaine produce wines that are quintessential “Pommard”. Pommard wines are bold, firm and age gracefully for a decade or more - this is not say these wines are not enjoyable now.
Courcel has been in hands of Gilles de Courcel since 1976. Gilles leaves the day-to-day running to Yves Confuron who is proving to be a master of the Pommard soils, extracting fantastic flavour and intensity from the headstrong Pinot Noir grape.
