ALLUVIALE

Based in the Hawkes Bay, Alluviale strives to make wines in a style that strongly reflects the fruit and vineyard sources. Along with a winemaking approach that preserves fruit flavours Alluviale use a combination of traditional and modern techniques to provide complexity, usually in the form of a savoury nuance. This subtle complexity heightens the link between food and wine and creates a certain style which is both morish and memorable.

Ant Mackenzie

Ant Mackenzie spent 20 years making wines for some of the most ditinguished New Zealand vineyards before deciding to focus on his own projects. Alluviale is a chance for Ant to highlight the regional notes of the Hawkes Bay & Marlborough while producing wines that carry his hallmark balance between exceptional fruit and savoury nuance.
