Ed Carr is widely regarded as Australia's pre-eminent Sparkling winemaker with a career spanning over 35yrs. He was awarded the prestigious winemaker of the year in 2011. He is now the chief sparkling winemaker for Accolade and looks after a number of brands. In this rare event he will be presenting two of his best from Tasmania, starting with the Bay of Fires Sparkling Tasmanian Cuvée Brut, and Cuvée Rose. The we will move on to the iconic House of Arras, which Ed established in the mid 90s with the intention to craft world-class sparkling wines. The signature components of Arras wines are complexity,depth and character. These incredible wines have never been seen in New Zealand before. We will be tasting, A by Arras Premium Cuvée, Arras Brut Elite, Arras Rosé, Arras Grand Vintage 2008, and the stunning Arras EJ Carr Late Disgorged which has aged ten years on lees.
