On the 8th of October, gather with us at Jervois Road, where the fire will be glowing and glasses filled with fine Burgundy. We’ll be tasting the already-legendary 2022 vintage from Nicole Lamarche. In recent years, Domaine Lamarche has been celebrated for wines of effortlessness and transparency; dream qualities in any wine, but especially in Pinot Noir. The 2022 vintage carries Burgundian grace in a truly exceptional year: a warm, dry season, blessed by perfectly timed rains, has given rise to Pinot Noirs of vivid red-berry fruit, bright acidity, and silken tannins. Across the evening, we’ll explore the domaine’s remarkable holdings, from Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-St-Georges, and Vosne-Romanée through to the rare treasures of Clos de Vougeot and the monopole La Grande Rue. This is a rare chance to experience these wines in their youth and Nick is looking forward to sharing them with you.
