Glengarry Wines has a long history of unearthing new and exciting Spanish wines. A country our General Manager, Liz Wheadon, takes keen interest in with a line up some new and exciting producers, next to some classics to show the ever changing face of this old world producer. Join us on a tour discovering old vine parcels in Bierzo, to Rioja’s classic vs new wave and across to the hights of Priorat.

Your ticket includes 50ml sample bottles of all the wines. To ensure these samples reach you in safe and optimum condition, we will be using the Coravin system to check for cork taint. The tasting bottles will then be filled under a veil of argon gas, to minimise contact with air and prevent oxidation. The team will be using applicable protective practises when preparing the samples. They will then be dispatched to you a day or two before the tasting on Thursday evening. These sample bottles are designed for short term storage to get them to you for the tasting, not for keeping in your cellar. Details will be included explaining how to set up your computer / phone / iPad to join the tasting which will be conducted via Zoom.

We'll be tasting; Dominio de Tares Baltos 2017, Des J Palacios Petalos del Bierzo 2017, Finca Cuco Grenache and Carignan 2018, Gran Feudo Reserva 2014, Palacios Remondo la Montesa 2017, Finca Allende Rioja 2013, and Aalto 2016.
