Don't miss this fantastic mid-winter champagne tasting! Ned Goodwin (Master of Wine) will be here to present the wonderful Champagnes of Piper Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck. Ned was born in London, raised in Australia and educated in Tokyo and Paris. He was the first MW in Japan, where he was based for 11 years. Now he is the Asia Pacific ambassador for Piper and Charles. These two houses are both at the absolute highest level of quality, but have very different styles. Ned will lead us through a stuning selection of their range, including two extremely exciting new Prestige Cuvées that are arriving just for this event. We will be tasting: Piper Heidsieck Cuvée Brut, Essentiel, Vintage Brut 2008, Rare 2002, and the new $500 a bottle Rare Rosé 2007. From Charles Heidsieck we will be tasting, Brut Réserve, Rosé Réserve, Brut Vintage 2005, and the long awaited new vintage of Blanc des Millénaires 2004.
